I tend to use it as an ice breaker once people get to know me enough. I watch vicariously through their eyes, knowing their reactions will be typically different from mine.
I loved it to death. It was so strange and pointless that the very act of escalating inner questioning was a form of suspense building. The audio and visuals set an immersing scene, which only makes it's strange environment that much stranger. Some I've had see it looked almost scarred from the experience, while others found redeeming qualities or embraced the crazy. Either response still was a great way to get to know a person.
