Getting outed as a sociopath

Have you ever been 'unmasked' by someone in real life or have you ever 'outed' yourself to someone for whatever reasons?

In my case it never happened, though I was close to telling a good friend once but I don't know if he would have believed me anyway.

The closest I've come to being unmasked is I got caught in a big lie once but the people around me saw it more as a phase in my life than my true nature.

My daughter asked me once if I'm a sociopath. I told her the label is not important and left it at that.

I've been recognized as a psychopath by another psychopath, and accused of being one by some girl I hooked up with who (oh the irony) had a bad history of hooking up with psychopaths.

A couple of my friends actually were the ones who identified me as a sociopath. Without them, the idea would have never crossed my mind. Right now my best friend knows and a couple of friends who I frequently talk to know.

They didn't diagnose me, they simply pointed out I have many sociopathic tendencies... although one is a psychology major specifying in psychotic disorders such as sociopathy so I took his opinion into consideration.
