Oh man I love movies, I've seen so many of them that I couldn't even begin to make a list. I (unsurprisingly) love horror movies, from the '30s chillers to the '40s Universal movie monsters to the '50s B-movies (you get the idea).

Some titles would be : Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde (1931), Dracula's Daughter (1936) etc.

Anything with Karloff or Lugosi in it (Bedlam, The Body Snatcher).

Early Hitchcock talkies were awesome.

Film noirs like The Third Man.

'50s stuff like the Tingler, 13 Ghosts.

'60s flicks like Corman's Poe cycle.

'70s italian horror & giallo (think Dario Argento or Lucio Fulci). Cannibal Holocaust, Zombi 2, Tenebrae, Suspiria.

'80s horror, slasher movies (Halloween, Friday the 13th), Evil Dead.

Romero's Dawn of the dead is a great zombie film.

Early Peter Jackson stuff is insane too like Braindead or Bad Taste.

If we're talking about recent horror, series like Saw or Hostel are great. This genre is known as torture porn, I love that term.

Like everybody I enjoy a big blockbuster now and then like Lord of the Rings, Inception, 300, Sin City or a good super-hero movie.

But I also like somewhat obscure/independent horror movies (i.e Incredible Torture Show) because they can be cheesy or creepy.

But nowadays with the advances made in the special effect department I think that TV shows are more gratifying to watch than movies because they have a lot of episodes to develop a good story arch so they tend to be more complex and entertaining than a 90 min movie.
