I'm kinda hoping for an apocalyptic type world war. 

Although, I want there to be a few survivors worldwide including myself.

I don't know about the rest of the world, but the US could use a big unifying war to get behind. Our government might actually get something done.

Personally I'd be interested to see how the world would fare if the US were wiped out. My point being that I think a lot of the negative problems caused by the US would be withdrawn and society would be more balanced and healthy

 We've needed someone to knock us off our pedestal for a while.

With the current circumstances regarding Russia's imminent invasion of Ukraine, I would say your proposition could become reality. 

There would be no point in that, since there'd be some other country that'd take its place.

A Red Dawn scenario would be ideal. It would give us a chance to rebuild our nation. As long as we are defeat the enemy.

I would love a chance to kill at will with nothing holding me back.
