Since today is 4/20 it is inevitable that [people] are going to be smoking the herb all over, so here's a PSA for anyone who gets "too high" today.
It's physically impossible to OD & die from smoking or ingesting marihuana, you're going to be uncomfortable, but you're not going to die. Just ride it out. It gets better in a few hours. We've [all] been there.
Tips for those who feel "too high."
- Drink water. Drinking water, along with the thousands of other benefits, promotes better flow of blood which will help lower your heart rate & regulate your breathing.
- Avoid cramped & crowded areas. More often than not when you feel "too high" you're actually just feeling too stimulated & your body struggles to process everything at once. Find yourself a comfortable spot & throw on a movie. You'll be amazed how quickly you feel better.
- Fresh air. This is a no brainer. Fresh air is the tits. And the increased oxygen intake is also good for blood flow.
Most importantly, just remember you will be fine. You cannot OD or harm yourself through the act of smoking itself. You can harm yourself by worrying & psyching yourself out- anxiety attacks are far more dangerous than simply being stoned. Sit back, relax, and clear your head. You'll be just fine!
