A lot of conversation revolving around the problems sociopaths can cause has much to do with marriage. What if the sociopath is a borderline-retarded person that needs care/supervision 24/7? What if you're participating in the herculean effort to keep one of these people out of prison? Where do you turn for advice?

Try me. I find talking about it to be quite therapeutic. I also find talking about it in nature to be very difficult. In the realm of retarded sociopaths, people are easily offended by words like retard. Not being able to say retarded means that you can't really describe the situation in the first place.

I would like to open things here by saying that it's perfectly acceptable to use the word retard, along with any other word that comes to mind when working out the difficult feelings that come with caring for a person when you're not sure they should be alive in the first place.

Well, basically I'm stuck with a retarded sociopath because I'm related to him, and I'm looking for others in the same boat. I've been doing it for a couple years now and I know there must be others out there in a similar bind.

I'm not the best writer. You'll have to forgive me. Anyway, I take it you don't need help with the daily activities of living?

Well, beating him crosses my mind quite frequently, though I'm not the type to bring out the rubber dick. Also, when dealing with a retard sociopath, you get into serious legal trouble if you abuse them. Of course they're free to abuse you from one end of the Universe to the other, but because they're "defenseless" you have to take the abuse with a grain of salt.

Though, if I ever do crack, I think I'd select some sort of hammer, not a dildo.
