I never really liked the Civ-series for some reason, it feels too arcadey and unrealistic. I fancy Europa Universalis or the Total War games more.

Games aren't intended to replace life. Mostly, I use them to pass the time when I have nothing to do.

I play IV from time to time, but I didn't get into V, I got it before all the updates but never bothered again to play it. I went onto minecraft instead.

My daughter probably has though. She's played just about every available game under the sun.

If you ever have "nothing to do" it's because you're wasting your time and not using it efficiently.

And if you dedicated your life to web development then you would never have "nothing to do" you'd be able to constantly expand your understanding and capabilities in web development and design, by reading, and creating new stuff.
