I also am capable of invisibility with Firefox. The "Remember Me" checkbox keeping me signed in doesn't keep me signed in where it shows active users.
I actually find being invisible annoying, but logging out and back in again every single time to fix that is a pain in the ass.
by Luna PreyIt's your fault for using Tor.
Seriously, why do you use tor? You expose yourself to anarchists and juvaniles. Are you really that deviant a person that you need to risk exposing yourself to a crowd of that kind? Google has a financial incentive to keep your data secure, these kids opperating nodes don't. Your data is stolen on the whim of their emotions with no consequences that might otherwise steer them away.
Just because it sounds cool and techy, doesn't mean it's anything anyone who knows anything about computers would consider using.
If I hadn't been using TOR I wouldn't have been able to deny/not confirm being from Sweden, or, depending on which Scandinavian country I live in, maybe my real country would have been revealed, when you published your forum statistics.
From my POV, TOR has kept my data secure. How do I expose myself to anarchists by using TOR, I don't get it?
data is data... they can still see the data just as i can. it's exactly the same. that data you send it no associated with any ip at all. it's true, sweden or w.e might exist on the stats, but those stats are in no way connected to any sort of data.
i repeat, nothing you post can be tracked to you.
