I have to admit I like Joshua. He reminds me of a younger version of myself. You see, when I was his age I suffered from a thought disorder we, the more senior SW posters, are familiar with called: ‘Stupid’.
I am concerned about Joshua, he is a good kid with so much potential but I am worried that he will waste his short life, and never realise the power that he deserves to own.
I have done some research and thinking for you Joshua, based on your strengths and personality, I suggest the following career path. You are a young psychopath/sociopath who is still finding his self. You have not yet put your beautiful mind to the test. What I propose here will probably sound belittling, but please give this plan some thought.
1. Look for a job, specifically target major fast-food chains, apply for every entry-level food service and customer service position you can find. For an industrious kid like Josh, flipping patties is an opportunity!
2. Once employed, go to TAFE and complete a Frontline Management course. This type of course is cheap, very easy to complete, allows you to network with classmates, and looks good on your CV.
3. Volunteer work: A great manager needs a good reputation. Volunteer work makes you look generous and caring and offers networking opportunities.
4. Apply for every store management position you can find.
5. Work your way through the TAFE Business study courses.
6. Become a store manager.As a store manager, you will have an improved wage, a better standing inside your community, will be offered travel opportunities, and most important: management is a skill that can be transferred anywhere.
Your business studies training, your good reputation, and developed soft skills, teamwork skills, and networking skills will make you a prime candidate for middle management.
Why major fast-food chains you might ask? These amoral organisations act like grease traps for psychopathic, sociopathic, narcissistic, and generally manipulative kids just like you. Once in management, you could retrain into the Pharmaceutical industry as a drug rep.
Lose the stupid josh: you are a bright young kid and deserve a better future than you have been creating.
