She's right. If people say it's false, they are a lying piece of shit. It's accurate. Most humans are scum bags, let's face it. No, IMO it's not naivety, it's being a pussy, an insecure little piece of garbage, if you are not capable.
I see it from most people, even if it's done unconsciously, but there are some people that are sheltered and innocent enough to figure that that's not how the world works, lack manipulative traits entirely from a lack of social interaction, and haven't conformed to the "humans are shit" theory.
I say "naive" as it'd arguably only be a matter of time and exposure.

No, I believe there are some people in the world who probably are genuine and wouldn't stab anyone in the back. That's why I said most, not all. The problem is, how do you know who is genuine and who isn't. You just don't know with some people.

I'm not sure if it's that accurate either, but in my experience, it's better to assume that most people are capable of stabbing you in the back. That's why I don't trust anyone.
I never underestimate anyone. I've seen what other people are capable of and I know what I'm capable of.
I must have it worse then. I honestly think it's in human nature to manipulate, which inevitably leads to backstabbery in the name of their own gains, gains that can easily be accepted as a reasonable excuse since they only have to prove it to themselves.
Everyone's out for themselves, as we are selfish by nature. By that logic, it's why I don't trust people's words, but their habits.

This video is contrived garbage. It was written and directed to elicit a very definite reaction from its audience. Most people will respond to this video with their naive belief that kindness actually exists like this. What's worse about it is that it starts with plant murder and ends by letting you know this was all done by a life insurance company. No, there's nothing remotely manipulative about any of this ad. {sarcasm} In reality it's an example of the "cold-hearted" nature of companies and the people who hide behind them.
