Don't you guys feel like some threads that are made (here and on pf) say a lot but don't have any real point? Sometimes I feel like people are making threads just for the sake of making threads. In other words I am saying that these threads are simply made to waste peoples' time. Do you guys get annoyed by threads that have no meaning and are obviously there to waste your time?

Every once in a while it will lead to an interesting tangent. Topics are just the stepping stones of conversation.
