Let me reiterate.

There is power in words. A power that the provider indulges in and the recipient becomes enthralled within.

Only intelligent beings are susceptible to a properly directed training.

The rest are... well, trash.

 I posted right as I was walking out the door. I meant to put "more than the song of his I linked you in chat" but didn't finish the sentence. I didn't mean I liked it more than your song. Communication is a challenge sometimes. 

I'm usually like that, but sometimes music helps me stay centered. If there's too much buzz going on up there, I try to listen to somewhat calming stuff. Songs with lyrics I can find especially distracting, so unless the vocals lean more toward instrumental effect, I tend to avoid it if I am multitasking. Off the top of my head for calmer stuff:

Spyro Playlists: 1, 2, 3.
Paprika: Soundtrack.
Legend of Mana: City of Flickering Destruction.
Some of Symbion Project: 1, 2, 3.
Herbie Hancock: 1, 2, 3.

There's others as well. It strongly depends on what sort of calm I'm looking for.

I like to write to ambient music. It depends on my mood though.

 Oh... I love her. I used to have her on disc. 

I've known a few people who've tried that. Works for some, but others just lose interest since there's nothing outright looking over their shoulder forcing them to write.
