I've used all of those manipulative techniques on my family and other people I know.

My mother spent about $400 on me recently and I won't even have to pay her back.

No, the nagging I occasionally do to my daughter when she doesn't listen. It works. Though, I generally dislike nagging, so it's not something I resort to very often.

It's so simplistic that it's almost dehumanizing. It's attempting to turn human behaviors into just a list of symptoms and remedies.

I love this sort of thing. It's literally designed to condition the reader.

After spending 10 minutes searching on Bing, that chart came from The Australasian Journal of Correctional Staff Development

I still enjoy the oldies but goodies. 

I walk up to someone and tell them there is bird shit on there shoes. When they look down I hit them over the head with a hammer and take there shoes.
