Rass kinda triggered this question. Though I'm starting to think that people aren't nearly as emotional as they claim to be, they exaggerate what they think and feel to conform to what they think society expects of them. Look at the outrage over some guy who pees on a tree, and some kid accidently sees him, gets shown. He's declared a sexual predator and thrown on a list, declared a demon and given a scarlet letter. Because We must save The Children!
And then people who like drama, feed this pretending to be butthurt, when in reality, they don't give a shit, they just want to stir the kettle. And what do you get? The mainstream media news here in the states. By the way, we interrupt this unimportant NSA story to bring you breaking important news, Justin Bieber just got arrested for.... (yawns you know they did that to annoy those that are fed up with the MSM).
And people claim to be all attached and in love with people, but yet, women mainly still date for financial stability, and men to father offspring and feed their urges. Yet they claim its for love, and any other reason is wrong. All because society wants us individuals to claim we're so run on our emotions, as much as possible, so that the official demons and us are clearly distinguished. There can be no grey area in anything.
If you want to find something that annoys me, this about society is. And the inability for most people to do introspection and to think critically, and to know themselves very well, to know that what they call their personality/sense of self/etc... is just them trying to add up to whatever they identify as. Just look at all the sociology experiments that show the gaps in what people think about themselves, versus the way they actually are. This is proof.
Okay, so this question has turned into a rant. :D
