I've had friends of both genders. The last friend I had was male. He ended up dying from a combination of drug use and an illness that I think he got from sharing needles.

I seem to get on better with guys than girls.

It has gone one way or the other, sometimes more girls, sometimes more guys.  I guess it depends on what is considered a friend.  In that case, no one.

Currently mostly male friends, but not by preference. It tends to fluctuate based on who I happen to meet or what pre-made group of friends I jump into.
