2. When people mistake your thoughtful look for resting bitch face.

8. When people stop inviting you places because you keep canceling plans.

13. When you hear, “Are you OK?” or “Why are you so quiet?” for the umpteenth time.

17. When you have an awesome night out, but have to deal with feeling exhausted for days after the fact.

18. When people pressure you to be more social, whether you like it or not.

21. When someone calls you out for daydreaming too much.

22. When you carry a book to a public place so no one will bug you, but other people take that as a conversation starter.

23. When people make you feel weird for wanting to do things by yourself.

24. When someone interrupts your thoughts, and you get irrationally angry.

I can identify with 2 (although, to be fair, half the time I am silently judging people) and 24.

But then I'm more of a misanthropic extrovert than an introvert. Even though I'm interested in psychology, I don't generally like people. I would say about 80% of them I find contemptuous and boring. But then I tend to get my energy from social interaction, and I would find it incredibly draining to spend a whole day by myself.

I can relate to:

13. When you hear, “Are you OK?” or “Why are you so quiet?” for the umpteenth time.

There was a guy I knew who used to ask me that quite regularly because I didn't feel like chatting and it was very annoying.

16. When you have to deal with that one friend who ALWAYS wants to hang out, and you ALWAYS have to say this:

I had a friend who would message me every single day and ask me to do stuff with him. Eventually, he got the message when I started to ignore him.

18. When people pressure you to be more social, whether you like it or not.

My mother used to do that when I was younger, and some people online seem to think they need to tell me how to live my life when they really should be concentrating on their own lives.

22. When you carry a book to a public place so no one will bug you, but other people take that as a conversation starter.

Yep, that's happened numerous times and still happens when I go out in public sometimes.

24. When someone interrupts your thoughts, and you get irrationally angry.

I wouldn't say I get irrationally angry, but I do get a bit irritated.

26. And when you need to be completely alone so you can recharge and get back to being awesome.

I enjoy a lot of online time off the net, mainly because I find most people boring to be around.

I seem to go through phases of being introverted and extroverted. When I'm in a large group of people I tend to be more extroverted. I'll be the one doing all the talking. When I'm in a small group I tend to be more introverted and are content to just sit back and listen, unless the topic of discussion interests me.

This one is me too:

1. When you need to take breaks and recharge after socializing for too long.

In fact, the more I think about it, the more I relate to most of them.
