odd question

I wanted to hear all your opinion on this.  Would you be willing to intentionally cause harm to someone if it meant you got something you wanted but didn't need?  More specifically, would you be willing to poison people if it meant you'd profit money from it?  The reason I ask is, I think the people who 'run the show' behind the scenes of our government are capable of doing so because I think many people who are in these positions are sociopaths or have sociopathic qualities.  The sad things is, most of America is completely blind to it.  Anyway, would you be willing to do this without it weighing on your conscience?

it's not impossible for a sociopath to get high up but being genuinely "half blood" as harry potter death eaters would put it.. they can't go all the way up the psychopaths wouldn't let them

I think a true sociopath or psychopath would do it at first out of curisoty, Then would continue to do it just to see if he or she could get away with it. It would be a ego boost for them to watch everyone working so hard to figure out who is doing it.

I think WhoAmI and you both are right about the circumstances in which a sociopath might do that, that is, if it were something they'd like to do. Mind you, not all like to do that. The one I dated would constantly cook for me, he got an egoboost from doing nice things for people, like I, a non did. Would it way on a sociopath's conscience if they did it? If they had a conscience, probably not. I don't know, as I'm not one.

From personal experience, having been a kid once, I think kids are far more dangerous than most sociopaths. I remember I used to set fires and make plastic bottlebombs just for fun. Explosions look cool, its fun to see things get destroyed. Though as people age and see the impact it has on others, and how they respond to you, you kind of learn not to do said things. Not all sociopaths do learn this, but some do.

This doesn't make sense, bc sociopaths are inherently self serving.  Do you say you only self serve toward the greater of 2 evils?  I dunno if I'd necessarily mesh a moral grounds with self serving attitude, they are completely contradictory.. You're being contradictory

You're whole persona is contradictory.  What you said goes completely against your name, "chaos", is your entire life this way?

Depends on the person, specifically their career interests. But even empaths would sacrifice the well being of others to get ahead in their career or get a task done. This was a rather dumb question.

Would this be something I would need to set up myself? or something handed to me and all that is needed is the "flick of a switch"
