     You just need to ask yourself one question. Would you give your own life so that one of your children may live. If the answer is yes I would say, you are not a true sociopath, you might have some sociopath traits.

Well, I'm not technically a sociopath then if I go by that standard.  But it's a little complicated because you mention my children.

My own mother is a sociopath in the true sense and I ended up so fucked up from that, I refuse to live with the guilt that would result from neglecting them.

I do experience considerable irritation when I have to do something for them and find them to be annoying most of the time.  But yes, I would give my life.

This site isn't just for sociopaths, there are a plethora of disorders here. Psychopaths, schizoids, aspies as well as introverts all converge here for what is most of the time entertaining education. 

That is a question I had to answer myself. I on the other hand, wouldn't give my life for anyone in my family. and yet i still question if im a real Sociopath. I have a lot of fucked up thoughts and everything revolves around me, and I like to hurt people mentally and physically. I think sometimes you just have to label yourself as Fucked up

Im a 42 year old child, and she didn't join this forum for those reasons you mentioned you dumb fuck. She joined because of the name.

I was also wondering about something, maybe someone can help me get some insight on this.  Why do I have a sexual desire to be used and degraded?  I've always considered myself to have power over men sexually, but why haven't I just become like a dominatrix in bed or something?  

This is not an attention seeking post by the way, I am genuinely wondering why I want to be treated like a slut.
