Since this obviously has just one ultimate purpose: To manipulate the members of the forum to spread out and drive traffic to your forum to increase publicity.

Then I suggest you focus on already well established forums, and with a large group I think reddit would be a decent target, if you could get the members to agree and work together.

Hell, there's a high likelyhood you could even get to the front page.

But I'd suggest making a landing page to justify the traffic first, something more valuable than just a forum. Perhaps a justification or ethos of the community. A new idea... it doesn't even have to be real, it just has to be believable and interesting.

Now is obviously a great time to start your cult...
