I suppose it's just a gross amount of ignorance or neurosis to the point of being completely out of touch with objective reality. I find very few people to be "crazy". Stupidity is common, crazy is rare.

It's not so rare... I have met lots of people who I either immediately or after a while, discovered are "crazy". I don't judge anyone and I've even befriended some of these people. In the long run, they become really annoying however.

Trust me... I know crazy... many people can fain crazy... and perhaps do odd things... but odd and crazy are not the same thing...
