Things that touch you

What things touch you? I don't go around feeling lots of feelings. I don't really understand why people talk about feelings (if they do at all). It doesn't necessarily mean that I'm a sociopath, but it is in accordance with my personality type (thinking over feeling).

It's not often that I'm deeply moved by things. Most movies that people say make them cry, don't make me feel anything. But random things can get to me... Like when a saw a bird (small bird of prey) being put to death. That really got to me. Also other things like the death of some famous persons has made me cry etc.

Nature touches me with it's variety, size and the unquestionable lack of purpose for the dead and the obsessive need to survive for the living.

Wild and domesticated life ostensibly (that includes humans).

Cheers.

When I get done reading a biography of a significant person in history and realize their intricate planning, courage and intellect are bested by factors outside of their control. Like the fall of Napoleon Bonaparte or Juluis Caesar infuriates me to know that despite their inhuman success they fell short of their goals.

I touch myself sometimes. Does that count?

Instead of gushing more about it, I'll just leave the answer at "My Partner".

Almost all of my very limited emotional pallet is negative emotion. I experience a version of "happy" that I achieve an agenda. Getting my way feels good. Matyrdom also feels good.

I thought this thread was going to be about getting a hand job. :(

Hey, cheers for the topic. I'm just interested why you were moved by those things. Have you ever asked yourself why you aren't moved by the things that move most people? Everyone's slightly different, so I don't believe there's any right way to respond to things. Does your lack of caring bother you on any level?

I took a while to think about your question. The death of someone close to me will move me, at least. I guess that's normal.

I don't get moved by sad movies, either. To be perfectly honest, I don't know very many people who do.

I am moved by some of the things that move most people, only to (I assume) a lesser degree. Firstly, I'm a man. We don't cry very often to sad movies and so on. Secondly, in my personality type I have Thinking over Feeling. I'm just not very emotional... And caring. Of course I care about things only not as much as (again I assume) most people do.

Yeah, and friends who die can move me too. I meant more in general, things other than the usual ones that affect you deeply. Nature is something I love. Like real love... Also some days ago I was watching the sunset through a window and the people on the street below. I used to live close to that area, and I felt a sensation almost like love for that place and the city I live in.
