A lie is a lie. There's really no secret to it. What's the difference between a half truth and a lie?

For example someone saying they can't call you because they don't have their phone. But in actuality they do have their phone but they didn't pay their bill so it was turned off.

I agree that everyone lies. I am talking about the things that would really hurt someone close to you. The big ones.

My favorite person is myself. I tthink I was on the top of the list. I havnt seen it, but I'm sure it's me. 

Both Inquirer and Virus do not lie, they merely relate the truth as it is afforded.

I will always lie when when it is afforded and it does not serve the truth as prescribed by it's basic survival premise.

And really saying you lie when it is easier or needed isn't not really a very good reason. Of course anyone can tell a lie when it is easier. Doesn't it show a bit more character to tell the truth when it is not easier?

I don't get it. That list wasn't a list of "favorite posters", that list (if we're talking about the same thing) listed the regulars in the descending order of post count. Medulla had the most posts, then Ellicit, etc etc. Nothing to do with any social hierarchy on this site.
