He's easy enough to ignore when I want to ignore him.

I don't plan on blacklisting anyone. If I have an issue with someone I'll confront them. Blacklisting is for pussies who can't handle it.

It's interesting you say this, when you say that you view other people as objects or as meat.

If you had a piece of meat that had gone bad, and the smell was annoying you every time you opened your refrigerator to find something to eat, would you confront that piece of meat or would you simply discard it?

Mostly I just get annoyed when I'm trying to chat on my phone and in the time it takes me to type out a single message there's a flood of 14 dexterspams making it more difficult to read the actual conversation that the civilized people are having.

When I call someone an object or a piece of meat it just means they have no value to me. Their feelings, emotions, hopes and desires are insignificant, unless I make them significant through confrontation of course.

It doesn't mean I literally see them as a piece of meat, though they may as well be.

The only interaction you find significant is confrontation?

Serious question - have you ever had friends that you enjoyed non-confrontational activities with?

Meat that I buy and eat has more value to me than most humans. Hell, the cup I drink out of has more value to me than most people. At least it's useful.

You're assuming I see everyone as an object or a piece of meat, but I don't. Some people have more value than others, depending on their usefulness.

And yes, I've had 'friends' that were useful to me for other reasons than confrontation.

What value or use have your friends provided?

If someone has something I want, I will become 'friends' with them to get it.

For example: Years ago I wanted to move out of the place I was in, so I befriended a guy who had a much bigger and nicer home than the one I was in. Within a month of knowing him, my daughter and I had moved into his house.

The reason we aren't there still is because of his kids. They'd visit every second weekend. They didn't like me and I didn't like them, which caused arguments between their father and I.

Quick suggestion. Perhaps "blacklist" should be a temp thing. 30 minutes to an hour or so should be sufficient while not causing too much of a big deal in the continuity of things around here.
