I know an angry sociopath is a rare occurrence. I myself am known as a very laid back person, and I never understand why everyone else gets annoyed so easily. However, I just found out the only girl I've ever fallen in love with was cheating on me for a while before she dumped me, and she still hasn't confessed to me about it. So, rather unnaturally for me, I felt a rushing urge to find the prick and torture him in the most sadistic ways possible. Luckily, the urges passed rather quickly. However, whenever I think about it, (I think about it whenever I talk to her) the anger returns. So, has anyone here found any coping methods for anger apart from actually satisfying the urges?
Everything is a matter of perspective. If you don't like your reality, change your perspective of it. - Lesson from a Schizophrenic.
But for real, if you are finding yourself overly emotional about something, you need to simply shift your focus onto something you can control. I for instance, pour my anger out onto weights when i'm frustrated. It neutralizes the excited energies all while making me look even better... which comes in handy when I wanna find an even better looking bitch to "accidentally" show off to an ex...
