You are correct. To expand on your critique, I should have used a question mark rather than a period at the end of "Sure, why not," and a comma between "school" and "and" in the following sentence. I should have started the sentence following that with the word "I'm," written "9" as "nine," and not used "or" to open the next paragraph.
Please be more thorough the next time you feel like playing Grammar Nazi. Alternatively, you can get over it and accept colloquial conversational styles as an acceptable form of internet communication.
