Need some advice from like-minded people. I have made a social ERROR, in that things were said which revealed some of my sociopathic traits. My mask slipped majorly, the first time in many years. I could blame the high alcohol content or the dullards I was surrounding myself with called 'company', take your pick.

How should I go about getting back to 'normal'? Need to burn the image I was painting about slowly and wonderfully setting my housemates' hair on fire and watching them squirm.

Ah, a slip-up. It sounds as though you were intoxicated and around some one-celled organisms, so you let some information out.

The best thing to do is to create doubt in their minds. Plant the idea that they interpreted your behavior incorrectly due to their own drunken state. Don't lock down completely and do a '360' as that would arouse further suspicion. Simply outwit them; from what you described, it should not be much of a challenge. In the worst case, get them drunk again (and take care to stay sober) and 'hypnotize' them. Drunk people may not remember much in the morning, but they will recall any theories you plant deep enough in their minds.

Final word of advice: try not to mention 'dullards', 'set on fire', or 'sociopath' as these phrases will most certainly hinder your progress. XD

To be a good little evil mastermind, don't let your guard down, even around those whom you deem to be of lesser intelligence.
