I don't mean this in an insulting way, but is it harder for you than NTs to be nice?
Nice actions and mean actions take just as much effort to perform. I have seen that NT's require permission to deliberately act mean. Empathy and remorse impaired individuals either do not require that permission or generate their own permission.
I am not saying I am different in all ways. I am talking about things like the personality tests or that some people see others as objects. Human they are the same as ants. That is what someone said last night on chat.
Or that I was raised to believe is non-feminine to be assertive. I feel quilt sometimes for being assertive or aggressive. Weird.
I've done nothing genuinely nice for someone that didn't benefit me in some way. I don't like to give unless I know I'm going to receive.
It's what I'm teaching my daughter as well - that you don't get anything for free and if you want to give to people, then make damn sure you get something back. It's every man for himself in this world.
