NPA personality theory posits that individual personalities can be categorized by three genetically determined character traits -
narcissism, perfectionism, and aggression.
Varying levels of these traits combine to make types N, A, NA, NP, PA, and NPA.
Since all individuals with ASPD are characterized by traits of aggression (and narcissism, to a degree), this could potentially be applied as a scale for candidates of sociopathy/psychopathy.
Suggested corresponding ASPD disorders for each type:
Aggressive Type: Lower functioning sociopath. Lack of perfectionism leads to tendency towards impulsion and emotional outbursts.
Perfectionist-Aggressive Type: Classic serial killer. To a lesser extreme - overt tones of suspicion, passive aggressive behavior, paranoia.
Narcissistic-Aggressive Type: Narcissistic personality disorder, sadomasochistic overtones, hypersexual.
Narcissistic-Perfectionist-Aggressive Type: Higher functioning sociopath/psychopath, with traits of NPD. Autocrat, control freak.
Types without trait of aggression (non-ASPD):
Narcissistic Type: Idealistic, irrational, subject to ADD/ADHD, manic depression, bipolar disorder.
Perfectionist Type: Autistic / Asperger's Syndrome
Narcissist-Perfectionist Type: Obsessive compulsive. Dutybound, susceptible to schizophrenia and depression.

Of all the types, Narcissist-Perfectionist seems to be the most "normal". Which type are you?
