The epic battle for 2nd place on SW Forums!

Hi to all of you folks joining in with us today!

The battle for 2nd place here at SW Forums is messmorizing! As you can see from the chart, with only one week into the year, and there is no clear winner as to who will take the 2nd possition! 

That's right Luna, and it's been neck and neck all week long. We see the English putting in a lot of leg-work, showing a lot of strength out there in terms of hits as well as bandwidth, but they just haven't been able to neck out a lead just yet.

Luna, what's the difference between 'pages' and 'hits'?

pages is basicly each time you click a link and load a new page.

hits is like a document hit.. you get a hit each time a document within the page is loaded.

so like if a page on your site has two images, you will have 1 page, and 3 hits.

...Makes me wonder how many other people are using a proxy server to access your website...

Does this not just show that Slimes, Thesugargirl and myself spend most of our time here in chat? The UK's hits/page ratio, and bandwidth/page ratio are huge compared with Canada and Australia.

I would be one of the "Swedish" users.  I use a SSH tunnel through a remote server I have access to.

The UK has a lot of hits. I am guessing all those hits & pages came becasue the people in the UK look at a lot of threads.
