He is definitely the most intelligent poster, but there are a few others who qualify by my standards...although my standards may have slipped over the years due to the sheer amount of stupid people I come across...

by SalubriusI am a sociopath and my husband is a psychopath. If you want me to tell you the differences feel free to ask, because the frequent interchanging of the two terms as if they are the same thing is something that annoys me.
What do you think the differences are?
I KNOW some of the differences are the fact psychopaths are born, sociopaths are created due to environment. My husband has no fear AT ALL and never has, I overcome fear and have one unusual phobia (although I believe it is a very sensible one possibly an evolutionary throwback). He has no empathy whatsoever and I have selective empathy, my closest family member throughout childhood being my cat I have never been cruel to an animal and have empathy with animals...but none for people. I am always right, condescending and arrogant...my husband isn't unless he can gain from acting so.

Damn good question! It's something I have always done, like an impulse...I seem to care how I am perceived and although I don't care if someone likes me or not, I want to be disliked or liked based on me rather than a possibly incorrect perception of me. That's my theory anyway. Yes, for once I've said something is only a theory and not fact...don't get used to that, it's rare lol
