I'm pretty sure even some humble networking between the two places would eventually stir something up. It could even help bring more life to both forums. Maybe some users over there would like an environment without so much structure. We'd be liberating some, while witnessing the inevitable damage that'd follow from such a bridge being built.

Without conflict, growth is a much slower process.

While your arguement is great, the owner of that forum seems to moderate the forum tightly. I made a new introduction thread, and she moved it into the massive thread of introductions. That says something to me!

People don't like having their threads and posts moved around! It's like people don't like it when random people pat them on the head! It's direspectful!
