My purpose in this life is to change the course of history for my family, instead of it just repeating the same pattern. I'm a decendant of psychopaths, who messed up their children, and I don't want my children to follow the same messed up path as I did in my youth. I'm not sure where I would be right now if it wasn't for my kids, so I owe them alot.
My motivation
Is to see them go onto achive great things in this life by, first myself, becoming a better human to ensure that I inspire and lead them by example.
Maybe it's just a game to me, to see the effects that my manipulation will yield in the future but I'm not so sure it is manipulation or narcissism tbh. I'm almost certain my intentions are pure.
That which can change my view of the world I find meaningful.
What motivates me? I motivate me. My sense of drive is something I have to at times force, as otherwise I'd rather just do enough to make myself less bored. I do what I have to to make sure my life doesn't hit any snags.
What do I find meaningful? Doing work (paid or volunteer) that has a positive impact on other people's lives or makes a difference for the betterment of others.
What motivates me? Sadly, I'm realizing lately that not much does. I only come alive in a crisis. What's that all about? Sheesh
