To be fair I don't think many of these are new at all, but rather newly labeled. Regardless., it was somewhat informative.
#6 double-foot-in-door, I associated with poker which I tend to play a lot. Sometimes (especially if you know you have the nuts) it's better to first bet a small amount, let them see a card, then bet at them harder, and if they call again you bet at them fierce to where you stand to gain more. Surprisingly they will call you most of the time because they don't want to lose what they've already put in there. Similar concept.
#8 target template. Call of Duty. Enough said.
I was once called a #9 dark triad by an ex but chalked it up as some sort of religious insult and forgot about it until i read this. HOW DARE SHE.
#11 fear of happiness creeped me out a little bit. Who in their right mind would fear happiness? I don't get how some cultures associate happiness with sin or shallowness. I can only see them fearing the consequences of immoral behavior that might give them happiness.
#13 Vocational callings, I've grown up playing video games. It was one of the only positive things I had growing up, and now I work part time in that field and it barely feels like work at all. I guess this is the whole "Do what you love for work and you hardly work at all" aspect.
What do you guys think. Do you agree/disagree with anything said in this article and did you see any parallels in these ideas to your own life? Comments? Opinions? Trolls?
