Do you have any more poems that you've written VoV?

I enjoy a lot.

I don't really dabble in writing poems per say.

I simply write what comes out of my mind at a given moment in this forum, when I'm inebriated.

Here is one for example.

The fog in my mind diffuses with the clarity of realization.

I'm a shame without the will to compare myself to any other.

Have I finally reached the shores of doubt and surrender?

Or am I merely approaching another island of self deception?

Is my journey just a continuous drift between dead rocks?

Perhaps I am simply a rock in a sea of rocks myself.

How wonderfully talented so many of you are with your writing, poems and art! They say this generation is all technology but fortunately that isn't true.

These were all things I loved to do when I was young and I am glad you are all pursuing them, technology is helpful but creativity keeps you growing!

I love technology and science, but I also love nature, poetry and art. Lot of room in my head.

The point is to keep your mind occupied on the solution (forgive me for the bad wording. Usually what people consider a solution is simply an off-trade to gain something that can prevent the immediate consequences from destroying what you're in need to gain).

Still, these solutions can extend into a long term interest, or a short term one.

Staying busy makes you richer in a plethora of ways.

Being aware of where these interests can take you is just as important.

Sheer pleasure.

I agree! It is very important to keep one's mind occupied especially when we are plagued with some of these so called disorders or as I would rather phrase it simple aberrations.

But there is this assumption that this generation is only interested in technology and that creativity and passion is a thing of the past, I don't know since its not my generation. I am happy to see otherwise.

Your poetry caught my eye and I was wondering if you have had or are considering getting any of it published? It may not be as difficult as you think. I have written for a magazine in my past and been published but your writing was really good.

I love poetry and you say you write when you drink? Have you read Charles Bukowski, he was a prolific writer, who loved to drink, write, swear and screw many women. He also had a great, dark sense of humor, he could have been a sociopath? You might want to check him out.
