Are you allowed to use a calculator? No wait, I'll grab a pen and paper..
Do the ln "natural logs" first. (ln 4), (ln 5) etc.
Then add the denominator together second. (8 ln 4) + (ln 5)
The enter the numerator and divide by denominator. (ln 4) / ( blah blah blah)
Check your answer by posting on yahoo answers. <-- [do you have an account or do you want me to post for you
and you can check if your answer is the same?]

Do ln 4 first. Natural Log of 4.
then 8 x multiplied by that.
I posted your question on yahoo. they changed the system there.
used to get answers right away, we'll see. hold on.

I found this forum:

if you spell out the equation by typing it looks like this:
4^(1 - 8x) = 5^x
AND
x = (ln 4) / [8 (ln 4) + (ln 5)]
Can you post it in the math forum there ^ and see if some genius can check it for you.
Plug it into your calculator and make sure you get the same answer.
Do your own homework and move the fuck over, your ass is hot and stanky right now. And stop wanking your juices in the same blessed spot why don't ya'. Would you cut back on the amount of dudes you fuck, because the anonymous ball drags every friday, saturday, sunday, monday, and tuesday nights are wearing me out, literally!
Is this a dollar store Sponge Bob calculator? If it's solar powered, make sure you're not sitting in the dark?
Seriously it could be your calculator is rounding it off.
If you are "rounding your answers" in between steps it will be off by a few points.
These ppl are probably plugging it in without losing any decimal places.
