Personality Test

by MMP

took me less than a minute to click thru to find out im like two pees and some pot with the op

evidently we are exactly alike to the letter

Sharing the same result does not mean we are exactly alike. It simply means we have some similar attributes.

There are many people in the world who share some similarities. We are not as unique as we like to think we are.

all online personality tests are crap

Many are, I agree, but to say all of them are is not true at all.

If you don't like taking personality tests, then don't take them. Simple as that.

Personality Test

I have taken this test before and it sure is frustrating, LOL. It causes a lot of inner tension. Do I choose to be conventional which I am not to get the other two that I am? :D

Anyway, my result:

People with this temperament style commit themselves wholeheartedly to an ideal or a cause and they will work with considerable determination in the face of opposition or adversity. They are difficult to influence against their will and they will attempt to hide their personal sensitivity behind a wall of reserve and self- control. Whilst they dislike any form of personal criticism they will generally be successful in masking their hurt feelings, though some of their achievement drive may come through as arrogance or condescension.

People with this temperament style are dedicated to the achievement of their agreed goals. There is a high level of ego involvement present, and the success in achieving a personal goal is a reward in itself. However, they also expect to receive appropriate recognition from people who count, and they expect to gain the respect of their associates because of their clearly identified achievements. It is important for them to have their status recognised, but by the same token they expect to earn it through their display of competence.

Pressure builds for them where they feel their work is not significant. Challenge stimulates them rather than putting them off and there are likely to be some signs of irritability and frustration where they feel their work is not utilising their talents. Criticism offends them, including real or imagined threats to their esteem or their position or authority but, because of a sound level of self management, they tend not to openly display how they feel. At times, stubbornness comes through, sometimes passive resistance and occasionally outspoken rejection of other people's ideas.

Their work style is typified by working with great determination in the face of opposition or adversity, and they need to have a very clear definition of what is expected from them. Generally they are prepared to undertake whatever training is appropriate to equip them to be good at what they do, and they expect to be trusted to carry out their assignments without visible supervision. People with this temperament style are personal achievers, not dependant upon having other people around for company or support and, in fact, they prefer to use their own devices to achieve results, rather than contributing in a team environment. Where they respect the capabilities of others, they will contribute, but sharing their ideas is not all that easy. They will carry out a formal social role with some competence where they have to, such as attending a company function where there is a perceived duty but, by preference, they will associate with a small group of close associates outside the workplace.

Summary:

An individual with this temperament style is an absolutely independent person with strong opinions, who does not easily or often take on board contrary views. Often idealistic, their closed-minded approach makes it hard for them to work for others, except in a role where they have a say in the outcome or can come and go as they please. Alternatively, they like creative activities. Suitable roles would include: Journalist; Hospital Administrator; Contract Designer; Aide-de-Camp; Chef; Self-employed Consultant; Political Activist; Union Rep.
