I had quite an intriging thought come to mind when studying over and looking at psychopaths in the military, and when I mean in the military I mean the high functioning/stable-self control ones in the parts of special forces and such. My question to you guy's is though, do you believe a psychopath would break like all the others are sipposed to or do you think there is more science behind this.
If you are intelligent enough, you agree to the stronger, that doesent really breaks you.
But then, if the stronger one trusts you - make your own aims come true. (Kill the stronger one, use the stronger one, there are many possibilities.)
In my opinion, I dont have anything, I fight for with convictions. Only my life.
all beings are self serving and born with survival instincts and therefore have a breaking point, but on average people in the military train themselves in such a way as to continually push their tolerance threshold.
Furthermore the military has a special program called SERE (for higher risk of capture solders ie: sf) that is supposed to replicate aspects of physical and psychological torture, to show the students exactly what they are capable of enduring, the concept is that familiarization and exposure to stressful situations in a way innoculates (or at least lessens the intensity of effects) us against them in the future.
My post wasn't serious. I don't believe anything involving a psychopath is that black and white either.
No two psychopaths are the same because there is likely to be other over-lapping features that are contributing to the way they are as well. Therefore, I wouldn't say it's impossible to break a psychopath, especially the more narcissistic ones.
