Hi Faceless. Thanks but you give me too much credit. Luna is in charge here, but when she asks for things she has gotten jumped on for sounding "superior or condescending." Maybe my job here is to make all those mistakes by asking things the wrong way, so Luna fixes the right way and isn't the "bad guy" people thought she was.

I'm not in control of the process. the direction of this site pushes and pulls all of us with it.

I'm different in that I don't resist change but go with the flow, even try to prepare in advance of what's to come. [as an empath, I also mimic the tone/attitudes of people around me, to connect and communicate on the same level.]

So if Luna is going to add Profile pages for members, why not start writing these up now. If she is too busy to ask or to collect these links on one list, I can help SW by asking members to do that now, and use that material for their later pages. In the meantime, short intros/bios help us get to know each other which helps with posting and replies.

Not controlling this process, just trying to help. I happen to sense things in advance, so I end up suggesting ideas that sound like pushing. But Luna is in charge, listens to the regular member and makes decisions that way. I agreed with others I should NOT have any input as other members because it cause conflicts; it is better I stay neutral with zero decision in SW so I am not feared as having any say in ideas I may bring up or defend.

I hope all members develop clear understanding/communication with her, and other members, so things go smoothly. If I push people to resolve conflicts, it is for the sake of working relations and a growing community.

The process decides this, not me, and Luna is good about taking all the member input and making things happen.

I've researched this. I wanted to buy a site that would have cost every penny that I had.

Sites die bc they become "boy's clubs" of older members. No new ideas. No new people.

I think that you all are [strike]assholes[/strike] great philosi-farters, and that this site could once again be what you want it to be. But you're going to have to accept the idea of new people. I know that's hard for a community that, by nature, defines themselves under the "umbrella" of whatever the fuck "antisocial personality disorder" is, to do that.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that if people are leaving and not being replaced, then you're careening straight into "boy's club" status. Enjoy the ride down the freaking chasm, or perk up and try to value new members. That's what other said site that, (I swear to fuck Emily - don't bring that name up again), had to do.

And we're talking members that started with dial up modems that had to accomodate. I'm sure a bunch of young hipsters like yourselves can adjust yourselves towards that. Right?

 I'm almost 41 years old. I started with a dial up modem just like you. We're not all a bunch of young hipsters here. Though, I still feel pretty damn young.

Oh, also, bc I really like the (I'm assuming - hot? God, I hope) woman who runs the site, I would like to mention that people who have multiple accounts are not tolerable. That really fucks a site up. On this site, I have two accounts because I couldn't remember my password. Had to start a new one.

People shouldn't have the benefit of hiding behind another account bc they're embarassed about something that they said, or fear reprisal. On this site especially.

Say whatever it is that you have to say and stick by it. If you can go run and hide behind "anon", then you're quality of speech is going to be off the top of your head, poorly thought out.

Just some suggestions bc I'm picturing the site owner beating me with a riding crop, and I wouldn't want that delusion to come to an end.
