Back to the subject, Hyper.

I love how George Lucas modelled his stories after the archeotypes made popular by Joseph Campbell.

We all wish the later Star Wars movies carried the same charm and magic as the first.

But I still love that classic stuff as modern mythical adaptation. Hate how it got corny and trite.

 I like puppies, and ice cream and movies where a knight in shining armor whisks me away and makes me his princess. If only that could happen in real life.

I'm timid like that.

Corny and trite defines star wars from beginning to end. the worse acting ive seen on screen besides some lesbian movie i saw on a direct streaming service where they dry humped with clothes on awkardly for five minutes after an hour of bad acting. 

George lucas is a retard director which is why red tails flopped and no studio wanted to take it.

People still fall for the awkward home boy who just manages to fire the critical shot that blows up the Death Star.

Humans are stupid. Amazing how these things work.

People want their happy ending so badly they will leap beyond all suspension of disbelief to get it.

Since we're on the topic of fictional mythology, the book American Gods does something pretty interesting with the Norse guys.  There are also love goddesses who work as prostitutes and devour their clients in interesting ways.

I can't explain exactly how awesome this book is without giving too much away, but the basic idea is a war between the "old gods" (Odin, Easter, etc.) and the "new gods" (Media, Technical Boy, etc.) for the worship and admiration of humans.

In the book, if a god has no followers, the god dies.  And the gods don't want to die.

I also like the concept of the old gods and the new gods in ASOIAF/GoT.  That series has a lot of interesting gods, I like the one with many faces :D  The drowned one is interesting.  What is dead may never die.
