The story about Prometheus is also a great one.
The gods wanted to keep fire for themselves, but Prometheus stole it and gave it to the people. To punish him Zeus bound him on a rock and every single day an eagle would come to eat his liver, which would grow back afterwards.
There are different versions but I prefer the one where he doesn't escape and is tortured for all eternity.
There was one story where Narcissus stabbed himself, but I like him better when he drowned.
Hera was something else. I liked that story about the girl who turned into a spider. It was also sad. Mythology is kind of sad. Her name was Arachne.
Old gods are twisted, but they tell good stories.
@Edvard I'd love to hear Norse mythology. I don't know it. I vaguely have a concept of Loki, and less of one of Odin.
