Hey Wilful can you explain and resolve this with Ed?
You do that, and I will enter that crayon contest thing myself, if no one else does.
I can buy 3 boxes of 64 assorted whatever and try to make that Hansel and Gretel house. And try to win in your honor. If someone here can do a better job, I'll sponsor them to enter under their own account. And we'll start a contest thread, where if SW members want to make bets or best each other, they can do it online creatively.
You like dat, Puddy Tat?
Meow once for yes, or bite my head off for No.
I don't really want anyone to know how much I think and analyze on things. In my opinion the only way to get rid of puppets is to ignore them and not feed them. I humored Wilful for a bit because his puppet was contradictory to things he had said to me directly. When I tired of it, I ignored him and now he has stopped.
WFE has been here longer than I have and I don't think they will stop. Due to how deep rooted they seem to be with him it makes me think they know him personally (as in person), they're from the old forum, or it's Tony. If I had been a part of the old forum it would be much easier for me to figure it out.
From a certain point of view puppets do make sense in an environment like this. Just yesterday someone thought I had made a puppet due to some things I have going on in my personal life and how closely a new poster resembled my own statements. Some may not want the collective group to know so much about them based on the one login they have. For me though it's more helpful to use my own name for everything. I don't feel like I can really judge those that use puppets unless they are truly meaningless and used only for annoyance.

Yes this is what I mean. When we decide one of them is annoying we can devise a game to kill that thing off.
Eventually the person finds more creative ways to stimulate the same interaction without the damn puppet crap.
As for analysis, you can always use my threads for that, I don't mind. I think it's good to have open environment.
I loved your spoof, and think those puppets are cool. just not the senseless annoyance garbage.
I'm not the only one who needs lessons on how to interact more creatively. This can be a good process. Thanks!
In that case then ignoring them will stop them and it's really the only way. A game is taking their participation into account and if they want to remain unknown then they won't comply.
Timing is a big factor in puppets also. If you look at who is arguing and who they are arguing with, and then what puppets appear it becomes a bit more transparent. Or who reappears then what other puppets come out of the woodwork. Just from my four months here I've discovered that not participating in the puppet hunts (even if interested) makes things a lot easier to figure out. Bringing more attention to them if even in an effort to out them would probably be counterproductive.
