whoa..hold on just a goddamn minute. she was able to manipulate her ex boyfriend/child's father into not killing her and actually feeling guilt towards her. unfortunately she was unable to do the same with her own father.

Gosh, you're so right. Everyone knows a 2 year old should be able manipulate their father into not killing himself.

Or maybe, my manipulative skills were so awesome at that age that I actually manipulated him into doing it.

 I have heard your stories about your Father and your socio mother. Did you ever mention any particular reason why you think your mother is a Socio/Psycho whatever?

I suspect my mother is a psychopath because she use to lie, cheat and steal when she was younger and she seems to lack any genuine emotion, aside from anger. It's been a long time since I've even seen that from her. I've also never seen her shed a single tear in my entire life, over anything, nor does she seem to fear anything. I don't recall ever seeing her experience guilt or remorse either.

I personally think she's incapable of love. She told me once during conversation that she doesn't love her husband. I'm certain she only married him for his money. I can only assume that she never loved my father either because she told me that she only married him to spite her own mother, who didn't want her to marry him. The main reason I believe she's incapable of love though, is because her and I never bonded. She's always been more like just someone I know than a mother.

She told me that the reason her and I have never been close is because I've always been cold and distant towards her. Even when I was little I had no desire to hug her or show affection. While that's true, I still think she's incapable of loving anyone but herself.

 That makes sense.

When my mother tells  me she loves me, I tell her I don't believe her.

Not that she is lying, per se, but that when you LOVE people you treat them a certain way. When people are not nurturing or kind, or consistent or protective, it is hard to say they love you.

My mother and I don't say I love you, because we both know we'd be lying.
