are you more drawn to someone based on their physical or psychological type? are you more prone to choosing people based on how easily they can be manipulated, or are the looks more important? what do you find yourself typically drawn to, or not drawn to?
and on a general note, do you have a type of people that you generally prefer? some people that you find more bearable than the most? who are they? what are they like?
I dont have a type as per se...just anything with a pulse generally. Just kidding. I'm more attracted to personality more than anything else, someone to bounce off, have a LAUGH with. She must also be confident and strong with sense of purpose. I dont see the point in having a life partner if these components are missing. Yaaa, there has to be a certain element of physical attraction also but when all said and done...when we're both decrepit old creatures who have lost our looks, atleast we can still make each other giggle.
I would have to say that attraction is an important component for me, because I express myself in very physical ways a lot of the time.
But more importantly, the only way that I can describe my "type" is somebody who is self-assured and confident. I can be drawn to many different personalities, so long as that person is strong and certain, and intelligent enough to challenge me. Of course a matching sense of humour is also imperative, for reasons like what Slimey mentioned.
So yes, as long as he challenges me but also offers a warmth through support and humour, he would be compatible.
Perhaps that's a bit idealistic though ;)
