Hi everyone,
So perhaps you have seen the thread I created about the monthly statistics. As you can see from that, even though we seem to be growing slowly in terms of traffic, we aren't growing in terms of unique visitors. I believe the reason for this is because we aren't showing up in Google searches.
I believe in terms of bringing in new members to this website, our target audience are people searching for the term "sociopath". For this reason, it's important that the word "sociopath" be used often on this website so that spiders will see this, and relate us to relavant searches.
The problem with putting "sociopath" in things like the URL, or the title, or headers is because several of you worry about co-workers or family looking at your browser, and mis-judge. We understand this, and so we have this conflict which disables are ability to SEO, and grow the community.
My solution for this is to create an option that allows users who are logged in to hide all the sociopath references. We could call it Safe For Work Mode. Users would have to be logged in, and select this option.
So what do you guys think? Will adding this feature be enough so that we can begin including "sociopath" in headers, the title, and the URL?
