Is it possible for one person to have "better" tastes than another?  Picture two couples standing side by side: one man chose a thin long-haired beauty while the other man chose a plump one-eyed piglet.  The men are identical twins.  Can we truly say, whether it be subjectively or objectively, that either man has "better" taste?

Um, it all comes down to the individuals opinion on what is "better".

Suppose the two men start debating over which woman is more tasteful.  What kind of things do you think would come up in such an argument?

can the "best" opinion be quantified?..is it just a feeling or is it real?  If taste is a mere personal opinion then you are correct; however, if our tastes are developed by our culture/society then you must be wrong
