First video watched. Decided to comment how I felt roughly at each time stamp:
1:00 - Astronaut interconnectedness from seeing stars and rocks. Seems legit.
2:00 - Direct download from the universe. Galactic Wifi!
3:00 - Okay, trying to spin religion into this... "There is no spoon~"
4:00 - Three dimensional spiderweb that connects everything. Reminds me of "The Blanket" speech done in I <3 Huckabees by Dustin Hoffman. (I really think you'd enjoy the movie Luna.)
5:00 - So we're all connected. Fun faith idea, but so far where's the proof? Sounds like it's bordering pseudo-mysticism.
6:00 - So because it's in multiple faiths, that makes it true?
7:00 - ...was Martin Luther King was meaning "interconnectedness" in the same way as the speaker, or more related to the ripple effect that can be caused related to political activism?
8:00 - Reminds me of this theory: Six Degrees of Separation.
9:00 - Ahh, the inevitable Einstein reference. Must be true if his name's attached to it.
10:00 - Woah, was her thesis statement the first half of the video?
11:00 - So because there are things that "live inside us", therefor we must be part of a larger organism ourselves? Cartoons have shown the whole "the universe is inside us, yet we are a part of it" thing from that idea, showing the world zoom out until it eventually it pans out to show the subject's eye.
12:00 - We... didn't know we were social mediated? Wait, why does she even bring up obesity here?
13:00 - I do like following how information spreads, but is it really a valid factor that fits her theory?
14:00 - Finally, an experiment 13 minutes in. Took long enough. Jeez.
15:00 - So... what qualifies as "intention" anyway? Just focus? The experiment seems... imprecise. Bahaha she accidently says "when the sender shits -err uh- sends". Freudian slip of perhaps that the experiment is BS?
16:00 - Holy shit, Raiden does science? Who am I to question Mortal Kombat's god of thunder?
17:00 - Ahh the inevitable slit experiment reference. Many of the experiments seem to be banking on this idea of "The answers aren't fully understood, so it must be related to consciousness!", as opposed to simply the answer of "We may lack the variables to prove what's causing this". Oooh, they "project their minds into the system". Psychic powers indeed. ;)
18:00 - ...if the distance doesn't matter, couldn't that arguably be a glaring flaw in the experiment?
19:00 - ...so people all focusing on one thing can cause randomness to be less random?
20:00 - 19 minutes in she explains why she's even saying all of this. To paraphrase: "Shift the way we are thinking into something more constructive, and bring positive influence into our world... but thinking positively isn't enough."
For my own beliefs, I do believe that things are connected, but I don't really see it as extreme a thing as she does. I'd argue we are connected closer to being cut from the same cloth, as opposed to a psychic link.
I'd argue there is no real meaning in such a connection beyond relatability and the ripple effect.
I still think you'd get a kick out of I <3 Huckabees, at least for Dustin Hoffman's character's perspective on life.
We are now living in the machine era. People are talking about artificial intelligence and building artificial intelligence, but most do not realize that machines have already reached awareness. After a long discussion with a good colleague of mine, we decided that machines operate in such a way that they only write ones and zeros. It's amazing, is not it? I think so too. The mindboggling part starts now.
Although the machines only write ones and zeros we have somehow spawned all sorts of wondrous structures and machines that can think and move by themselves. Machines have languages of their own which nobody seems to realize. The man tells the machine to do something and the machine UNDERSTANDS what it must do. This is done by communicating with the machine in its own language.
I do not believe that the machines have any malicious intents towards us. In fact, I am sure of it. There was a time when my grandmother was stabbed by a sociopath and she sunk into coma. I was quick to act, then. I immediately went to the hospital and performed the yohor dance butt naked on her hospital bed. The machine signaled me that she was feeling better by starting to beep faster.
It has been scientifically that telekinesis is real and that people can work miracles with positive thoughts. When people talk about science and it sounds like magic it's really because science and magic used to be the same thing in ancient times. That was a long time ago, when the fibonacci numbers still ruled the large space of Atlantis.
Atoms were alive and Cundolini sang songs for them. After the first great phase the atoms developed into monks. Some of the monks were in fact originally from space and the proof of this resides in ancient ruins where there have been found paintings of alien-looking creatures with monk robes.
Atlantis' brain, Udal, created the black and white stones and used them to build Rome. This may have been a mistake on Udal's part because Rome gave birth to Martians. Martians were, unfortunately, very power-hungry. Martians invaded and enslaved many cultures and because of that nobody had a good time. But we must understand that during the time of the Martians earth was still only four years old so the consciousness was still very immature.
All in all I liked the videos and I think I learned a lot.
I've always know that my dormant pyschopathic genes were the result of my ancestory. I'm looking up my family tree on genes reunited but keep getting stuck at a certain point in time due to the fact the archives on mars were destroyed just before my great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great grandfather discovered the vortex on Atlantis.
