I was thinking... if the house represents my family and the house was welcoming, then that means my family is accepting of me, but since it was empty when I walked inside, then that means I don't give my family any thought.

That is how my family tends to see things and I know this because they've told me as much. That I'm the one who is cold and distant towards them.

When I imagined the lounge chair, it looked comfortable, relaxing, yet it was blocking the stairway.

The stairway represents moving forward?

The chair means I'm comfortable where I am?

Or maybe the chair and stairway mean something else...

 For the life of me I can't figure out what the chest means or the writing on the wall. Well, not the red writing anyway. All I saw in my mind was the word Red.
