DNA testing?

Has anyone had their DNA tested by a place like 23andme?  This one will test for the "warrior gene".  I've thought about doing it but the privacy implcations are huge.

Your timing on this post is weird. I just ordered a 23andme kit a day or so ago for multiple reasons. I'm not really concerned about my own privacy implications on this, the knowledge outweighs it for me as someone with a rare disease.

Don't you know someone who is not paranoid and is the same age and gender as you who can volunteer their name on the test?

I can handle the obvious privacy problems, but there are ones you won't think of that can come up.  This review of 23andme talks about them.

Very interesting...one of the review does point out that google does something silmilar...also if you do decide to get it why don't you provide them with a false information? It's your blood they're interested in...I think.

My father had it ordered for himself.

He's quite the lovable, yet incorrigible prick.

I've understood enough from his results, to know I'm even worse.
