Myers-Briggs test.

Last time I took this, I was also an ENTP, with just a percentage or two on the E.

@SensitiveSoul INTJ - My cousin has that one, and is diagnosed with Aspergers.

Yes, I agree.  It's more of a snapshot into who you are, in this given moment.  People can, and often do, change types.  I always tested as INTJ as a chld, for instance.  Now I tend to test as INTP or ENTP (usually the latter).  It really depends on how I'm feeling at the time as to which I get.

I assume those with a so-called "weak sense of self" would fluctuate the most on a test like this.

There is some correlation between Asperger's and INTJ. However I'm on another forum where most people do not have Asperger's and are still INTJ. Also, asking the aspie population, they might also be ISTJ and sometimes ISTP or INTP.

I kind of can see what their reaction is about then. Being so self contained it must be hard to function in the "real world" and yea that is introversion to the extreme maybe. Kind of schizoid.

Personally I don't think changing is needed just for your own sake but I guess it depends on what is expected of you and what you need to do.

 I scored 55.

I am definitely empathetic but i overcompensate

by analyzing situations to stay objective while my emotions run their course.

some of the questions were ambiguous.

emotionally yes i lean empathetic

as in getting involved or upset with problems

of friends or on tv, but because i deliberately

forgive to stay detached logically then i answer the other way.

on this same site i also scored more masculine than feminine

because i overcompensate to try to stay objective.

so it showed in my scoring though underneath that,

of course i am far more empathetic and feminine.

i guess the part of me that operates externally

chooses to express itself in more objective terms to be more fair.

and thats the part that answers these questionnaires?

 re shades of gray

if you magnify the gray areas enough

you can break them down into black white yes no binary choices

its when we throw too many factors together into one

yes no choice then you get scattered or conditional answers
