I disagree
There could be any number of niches out there. What does the honest person have that makes them easily victimized? Honesty has nothing to do with being polite or friendly (An honest person, when asked what they think about you, could say they hate your guts). Usually the victims are easily taken advantage of and do not speak their minds in fear of hurting another's feelings (imagine a physically abused wife). In fact, I imagine honest people as taking leadership positions, but that is my assumption.
As for someone with truly pure intentions, it is a guessing game, because no one can ever know what the intentions of another person are. We do not know if Obama actually has very pure intentions or not, and since "pure" is up to interpretation, one could argue that Hitler had very pure intentions.
